These 2-hour weekly art & craft sessions run every Tuesday in term time for parents and carers of babies under one. We deliver 5 week long projects that offer a chance to connect with like-minded parents, while exploring creative activities like printmaking, modern calligraphy, embroidery, sewing, pottery, paper making and seasonal crafts—all focused on wellbeing and peer support. These courses offer an opportunity to learn in a baby friendly environment. The first year with a new baby can be a roller coaster, and this class offers a consistent creative outlet to develop skills and practice self care. All abilities welcome; join when you can and add yourself to the waiting list to find out when spaces become available. Baby changing facilities available. Breastfeeding friendly. Tea, coffee & cake available at our coffee bar. ​These courses are delivered in partnership with Somerset Council to provide inclusive adult learning.

Textiles Skill Share & Social

A welcoming textiles group held each week in term time. From fleece to felt with every aspect of wool & textile based craft in between with additional workshops offered through the year. This group is suitable for all abilities from beginners to advanced - bring a current project or start a new one and meet like minded spinners, knitters and felters over coffee, tea & cake. Projects include all aspects of knitting, weaving, crochet, felting as well as surface textiles, stitch and print. Share & develop your skills and enjoy the benefits of craft for wellbeing and peer support as many expert textile artists & wool crafters are here on hand! We have a wide range of teas, coffees and cakes available at our coffee bar and can cater for

PROJECT LINUS
Quilting Skill Share & Social

This is an open drop in group to learn quilting and to make quilts for sick and traumatised babies, children and teenagers for the local Project Linus UK group. Lots of expert tuition available to make quilts for this charity and develop your quilting and sewing skills. We have made over 3000 quilts at this group and it is growing all the time .
If you would like to join us for this monthly creative get together for a wonderful cause, with lots of support, then please do come and join us 10am -12pm the 2nd THURSDAY of each month at the studio.
Materials provided and/or bring your own. £4 suggested donation each session. No experience necessary, lots of guidance and support, and all abilities welcome.
